In the case of a fire or other major emergency, please call 911 immediately.
If your air conditioning is not working:
Please keep in mind that summer temperatures in our area can reach up to 117°F, and during these extreme conditions,
most HVAC units struggle to keep up with cooling the home to temperatures significantly lower than the outside temperature.
It's common for your home's internal temperature to remain within 20-30 degrees of the outdoor heat.
To ensure your HVAC system is working properly:
- Check the air filter: It must have been changed within the last 30 days.
- Thermostat settings: Ensure the thermostat is not set below 72°F, as this can cause the unit to freeze up.
- Thermostat batteries: Make sure they have been changed recently.
If the system is still not cooling properly after these checks, please contact us so we can address the issue. We appreciate your understanding during these hot summer months.
If your garbage disposal is not working:
Check underneath the sink for a "reset" button. Use the disposal wrench provided underneath the sink to twist and unlock the blades. Make sure the disposal is OFF while doing this. You can see how to do this by accessing our How-To videos on our website. Click HERE
If your water heater is not working:
Check the pilot light and follow the instructions on the water heater to re-light if needed.
If you have a water leak or minor flooding:
Identify and turn off the appropriate water shut-off valve – there are several shut-off valves on the property, including those for toilets, sinks, irrigation, and the main water supply to the house. Be sure to turn off the correct one for the source of the issue. Clean up the water to prevent further damage. Contact Red Rock Property Management's emergency line immediately to request a plumber if necessary.
How to Submit a Maintenance Request Through Property MELD
Maintenance requests
- How it works: You will receive an invitation email from Red Rock Property Management via Property MELD when you become a tenant.
- Confirm your info: From the email you receive, you will confirm your information, set up a password, and click the sign-up button. Then you'll confirm your number.
- Submit a new MELD: A "MELD" is a request for maintenance. Simply click the "+ New MELD" button in your account to get started. Click the button below to log in to your account.
